“Heart’s Desire” – a choral celebration of love (in its many guises) performed by Fullscore Singers
Saturday 15th February 2020, 7:30pm
Fullscore Singers is a new chamber choir based in west London. Founders Nigel Edmund-Jones and Frances Scott have sung in many London choirs sharing their joy of singing with experienced choral singers. The choir’s aim is to bring that joy to a widening audience in informal musical evenings. The programmes have been described as ‘more ClassicFM than BBC Radio 3’, encompassing Arcadelt to Zelenka via Bach, Chilcott, Holst, Gjeilo, Purcell and many more. Mixing both sacred and secular music, they sing a variety of choral music that can be easily enjoyed by both young and old.
Grandparents (over 80) and young musicians (under 18) can claim free tickets via online booking for each concert.
Paul Edmund-Davies, former Principal Flute with the London Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra, joins Fullscore for this concert and will be delighted to talk with flautists of all ages.
